FDL Kirkcaldy is seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our established and growing firm based at Lomond House, Kirkcaldy.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a strong background in Scottish residential conveyancing who is looking to take ownership of a varied caseload while delivering exceptional service to clients across Fife and beyond.
The Role:
You will manage a broad range of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, providing practical and commercially focused advice to clients throughout the process.
Key responsibilities include:
– Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
– Handling purchases, sales, remortgages, transfers of title and new build transactions
– Maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders and other professional contacts
– Ensuring transactions progress efficiently and compliantly
– Supporting the continued growth and success of the residential property department
– Delivering an outstanding client experience and maintaining the firm’s strong local reputation
About You:
We are looking for a solicitor who can demonstrate:
– Qualified Solicitor in Scotland holding a current practising certificate
– Significant experience in residential conveyancing
– Strong technical knowledge of Scottish property law and conveyancing procedures
– The ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
– Excellent communication and client care skills
– Strong organisational and time management abilities
– A proactive, professional and commercially aware approach
– Desire to progress within the firm to senior position
